Upcoming Events at the Morris Book Shop

Friday, March 5 at 7:00 pm: Kentucky authors Ed McClanahan and Erik Reece will drop by the store to read from their respective works. Ed's most recent book, O the Clear Moment, is now available in paperback, as is Erik's An American Gospel. Erik also has a new poetry collection from Larkspur Press: A Short History of the Present. Don't miss this opportunity to hear from two of Kentucky's most respected writers!

Surviving the Dragon

Saturday, March 27 at 3:00 pm: Meet Arjia Rinpoche, one of the most important religious leaders to escape Tibet after enduring Chinese rule for decades.

In his new memoir, Surviving the Dragon, Rinpoche offers a first-hand account of life for a dissident during the Cultural Revolution and beyond, as well as insights into life in a Tibetan monastery.
